The simulation game is a business process development method based on participation and interaction. It is a powerful tool to support change processes and improve productivity in business processes and networks. It can be applied toward:
- Present state analysis
- Testing and implementing new processes
- Training for new processes
- Involving people in process development
In a simulation game workshop the process is examined by using real-life case examples. Representatives of different work phases describe the process using the case as an example. After each phase the participants of the workshop discuss how the process could be improved. The simulation workshop requires proper preparation and involvement of the key players in the organization.
